Disable 802.1X Authentication for Wi-Fi (Linux)

Prerequisites

his tutorial assumes that you have already tried to follow the first tutorial, Add wireless Devices to Your MiNET Account, but were using the old MiNET Wi-Fi connection method.

Configuration

• Open “Settings” and click on the “Wi-Fi” tab.
• Open the settings for the “MiNET” Wi-Fi network under “Visible Networks”.
• Go to the “Security” tab.
• Select WPA & WPA2 Personal in the Security field.
• Enter the Wi-Fi password of your device that you generated from the Member Area.
• Click on Apply.

You should now be able to connect to your Wi-Fi.
